San Diego Chapter, this recognition reflects the dedication, technical expertise, and teamwork that brought this complex project to life. It also reinforces our ongoing commitment to delivering high quality mechanical solutions that support innovation, performance, and long term value across Southern California.
The Pacific Mesa Campus is a forward-thinking design build development in Sorrento Mesa that showcases collaborative execution and sustainable mechanical engineering. As the mechanical contractor, Pacific Rim Mechanical designed, installed, and commissioned a fully electrified central plant serving the entire campus, supporting both heating and cooling through high efficiency heat pump chillers, electric boilers, and advanced air handling systems delivering 100 percent outside air. Developed in close partnership with Sterling Bay West, Gensler, BNBuilders, exp Engineers, and the broader project team, the campus reflects a shared focus on energy efficiency, occupant well being, safety, and adaptability. This award recognizes not only the technical complexity of the systems delivered, but also the collaborative mindset and lifecycle focused approach that define how we build.
